This post is sponsored by BC Better Together- Hands on Cook Off Campaign, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. Family time is really important since my husband is away a lot for work, so when we are all together, we tend to make family together time a high priority. And that includes everything from doing chores to cooking/prepping meals. If you have been following our blog for quite some time, you’ll see that we love cooking, baking and having the kiddos involved even t
The anticipation to watch the incredible NUTCRACKER is literally killing my little girl. She has been waiting for weeks to see this show. And its extra special because its the 10th Anniversary Production of Goh Ballet Nutrcracker at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. We had an amazing opportunity to go behind the scenes rehearsal session and it was awesome. And cannot wait for the OPENING NIGHT this Friday December 21. Not only is it Goh Ballet's 10th Anniversary of the Nutcracker
Oh gosh reminiscing about our trip to Bellevue Hyatt in Washington. It was just the best time for a little relaxation for our little family. We started our day super early to trek across the border and went to find a yummy spot to eat. Once our bellies were full we did a little bit of exploring until check in time. We spent the time walking around the beautiful parks that were nearby and for the kiddos to run off some energy. As you can see these two monkeys thoroughly enjoye
To say Cultus Lake Water Park left an amazing impression is an understatement. Believe or not we have lived here in BC a little shy of 6 years and haven't really done much exploring. But we couldn't pass up this amazing partnership with Cultus Lake Water Park and Vancouver Moms. The kids were so excited they literally woke up at the crack of dawn to leave for the water park LOL. The first order of business was this amazing Pirate themed kids water area. It had 3 different lev
We had the opportunity to check out the Titanic Vancouver exhibit and we had so much fun walking back in time. To set the mood the lights were dimmed and the tone is set. I don't know if it was the lighting, but it just seemed really sad. Maybe it was the fact that we all know about the Titanic and what happened. The exhibit starts off with each person getting their own Boarding pass onto the White Star Line "RMS TITANIC" Ship. These boarding pass were not any ordinary passe
We had the amazing opportunity to check out the Vancouver Zoo during their Easter Egg Event. We got to the zoo early before the Easter egg hunt and decided to go on a walk and look around. The kids were so excited to go on the walking adventure. They had a list on their minds of what animals they wanted to see. It was such a fun experience for us because the kids have never been to the zoo before. They had so much fun, finding the animals and figuring out each animals names.

1. If you don't know here in Vancouver BC, Canada it rains a lot which is why our province is nicknamed "Raincouver". I have got both my kiddos muddy buddies so even if it rains, they could put on their rain gear and we can still go out and jump in some puddles. 2. We are going to do lots of visits to our l
1. Visit a farmers market It's so fun to visit your local farmers now because you'll find all the local seasonal veggies and fruits available now, but you'll be able to find yummy fall day treats and grab a hot chocolate while your there to sip while you shop. 2. Nature walks Why not take the kiddos out for a walk in the trails. Its a great opportunity since lots of leaves and things are falling off the trees you can do a fun guess what leaf that is???? You can totally turn t
What screams summer more than berry picking. I know it's the end of summer, but had to share some of the fun we had. Totally forgot to share this earlier, but best late than never right??? Krause berry farms has so much to do, there is ofcourse the Upick fields of the different berries, the fun play area for the kids (hint: the free playground), or the paid kids area which has a huge jumping/bouncy castle, the many different eating places and of course the tractor ride, which
I cannot believe it's already the end of June and we've finally got some summer weather. It's been actually cold and rainy for the most part in the June so now that the heat and sun is finally here we've been trying out a lot of different ice cream shops to tell you about the favourite spots we've found. I mean all of the research has been hard work LOL, okay maybe not but we've done a lot of testing out and have narrowed it down to a few places. The first spot has to RAIN O
I cannot believe its already June and summer break is about to start. We have so many things we want to do this summer. I mean we've lived here is British Columbia for almost 4 years and we haven't been to a whole lot of places. And that's definitely going to change now. We plan on lots of road trips, hopefully a trip back to the East Coast (Toronto) to visit friends and family. We're defnitely going to Seattle, especially the Pike Place Market, Seattle's Ferris Wheel at Pier
