Updated skincare routine

That saying really runs true especially for a busy mom to be able to relax, renew, restore and recharge to be the best mom I can be. In a previous post I talked about my skincare routine and using all nautral products. but it the past couple of weeks, my skin has gone crazy and I started breaking out even more so I wanted to share my new tweaked routine that has really started to change my skin.
A little bit about my skin I have extremely dry sensitive skin, if I use any new products with fragrance or some ingredients my skin isn't use I immediately get a rash and break out so now I have to be really careful of what I use on my skin. I will be sharing what I use in the day time and night time.

My morning routine usually consists of using just micellar water on two cotton pads and then the anti blemish solutions lotion and dab on the anti blemish spot treatment with a cotton swab on the breakouts. I don't wash my face in the morning just because I usually do a full on nightly wash with a cleanser and with my skin being so dry I tend just use the micellar water in the morning routine. Once my skincare routine is done I usually would just go about my day, but it I'm working I would start my makeup routine. I'd also mix in the anti-blemish lotion with my foundation just to double up to get rid of these pesky breakouts.

Here I am with the St Ives exfoliator on my face. I usually like to let the exfoliator sit on my face for a minute to let it sink in before I wash it off and go in with the cleansing oil. No science to it , I just like to really know the exfoliator is getting in there.

At night after a long day at work, I'd usually use a baby wipe first just to clean my whole face. Next I would go in with the St. Ives exfoliator and get a good scrub, rinse and I would proceed to use the cleansing oil. Now if your wondering why I use the exfoliator first is my dermatologist suggested to do this step first because it'll help the cleansing oil sink more into my skin and get a better cleanse. Once my face is nice and clean I go in the micellar water just to make sure I got rid of all the gunk, then I'll go and put the anti-blemish spot treatment on all the breakouts and finish off with the radiance night cream all over my face and neck.

Now on the days that I feel like my skin needs an extra pick me up or if my skin is really breaking out I will do a mask and put on a nose strip while I'm at it. This Loreal pure clay mask is amazing and smells so good. I don't know what it is, but as soon as I put it on my skin feels so fresh, it's like I can feel the clay sucking out all the gunk and pollution. And I usually put on the nose strip first because it takes a bit longer to dry than the mask. And I don't know about you, but the funnest part is pulling off the nose strip and looking to see all the gunk taken out.

That's me waiting for the mask to dry and showing you the process. And if you notice you can actually see where the clay mask is getting rid of the dirt as it dries so cool. And the charcoal nose strip goes on black but as it dries you can see in the picture it turns grey.
P.S. If you have any tips or tricks you have to help with post partum acne I'd love to hear all about it. I'm currently breaking out like crazy, so now I'm looking into seeing a dermotolgist and see if maybe I need to cut out some foods in my diet to help with getting rid of the breakouts.
