What screams summer more than berry picking. I know it's the end of summer, but had to share some of the fun we had. Totally forgot to share this earlier, but best late than never right???
Krause berry farms has so much to do, there is ofcourse the Upick fields of the different berries, the fun play area for the kids (hint: the free playground), or the paid kids area which has a huge jumping/bouncy castle, the many different eating places and of course the tractor ride, which is what my kiddos loved the most.
And Krause Berry Farms is currenting holding a super fun family event
Fresh Family Fun Field is Open 10am to 5pm SEPTEMBER 10TH IS FREE ENTRY TO THE FAMILY FUN FIELD FOR GRANDPARENTS AND GRANDCHILDREN (Train rides are not included in the free family fun day entry)
This field is designed for family interaction, play together and experience the food we grow in a fun and eductional way. We require one adult for every 5 children age 8 and below. We require one adult for every 10 children age 9-17. No admission charge for children 2 and under.
2017 Admission:
Children $5.00
Adults $2.50
Family of 4 (2 adults 2 children) $12.00
Admission to the field includes a tractor train ride on weekends.
Summer hours:
10am - 5pm with tractor rides available on weekends only from 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 4pm.
Fall Hours:
(After Labour Day) Weekends only 10am to 4pm with train rides from 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm
Experience our giant strawberry & pumpkin jumping pads, play challenging games for all ages, eat farm fresh snacks, and enjoy the opportunity to be a farmer as you test your tractor skills in Farmer Alf's training field! It’s agri-education mixed with loads of fun! Relax & breathe in the fresh farm air and the beautiful farm scenery while spending wonderful family fun time creating new memories.
The Fresh Family Fun Field is by admission only. Tickets for entry can be purchased when you arrive at the Fresh Family Fun Field entry window. If you would like to make a reservation for a stationary covered Chuck Wagon inside the field. The Wagons are covered for rain and sun protection.
