Being a teacher and now blogging full time. I lucked out with the opportunity to learn about so many great educational toys out there. And when Fisher Price reached out and we got a chance to work with Thomas and Friends and of course, my resident toddler had to experiment with this incredible train set. Let's just say she had a blast.
This train set has so many great features and by far the coolest part is the 360-degree loop action. Its also motorized which equals hours of fun while mama gets to sit down for a minute and drink a hot cup of coffee (woohoo).
Some more amazing features:
- Press the button on the engine to send Thomas racing along the track. Pull the lever for loop-de-loop action!
- Real working Carly the Crane helps repair the track to keep Thomas racing along
- are 16+ feet of track! This set is compatible with any Thomas & Friends track, except wood (Additional track sets sold separately and subject to availability.)
I love that this train set encourages so many developmental areas such as fine motor skills, imaginative play, problem solving skills, hand-eye coordination just to name a few. While they're playing you can feel good that they're also learning too.
And a pretty awesome fact... Did you know Fisher Price has a Play Lab where experts and real experts (kiddos) come together to test out the toys and baby gear, and they learn what they like or don't like. Awesome right... Even parents join in as well at the Play lab.
