No GUILT mama
1. You let your kids roughhouse Unless you see something that may hurt them like the edge of the coffee table, let them get all that energy out. From what researh shows, roughousing can actually strengthen neural networks in the brain that control memory, attention, and impulse control, and also improve social skills. This form of play involves the children communicating the rules, following through with the set rules and taking turns. Which is so amazing in helping the child

Spring is here... And monthly faves
It's been a busy couple of months, with all the moving, schools almost done and just in general life has been busy. I wanted to share some things that we've been loving lately. The kiddos fave thing to do currently is going on lots of walks, we've been doing lots of neighbourhood walks, getting to our new area. It's been fun exploring, finding new parks to play in, little ponds for the kids to check out, the local library and ofcourse all the cute little cafes and bakery shop

I'd watch them sleep making sure they we're breathing, literally waiting to watch their cheat rise up and down. You'd never think that having a baby poop and pee would be your major discussion

More kids????
We are at this moment in time when we are thinking of having more kids and one of my fears is post-partum depression. I do want to have more kids, our plan was always to have at least one more baby. The first time (because there was a second) I suffered from postpartum depression was about 2.5 years ago. I remember crying a lot for no apparent reason, feeling so alone and sad. I couldn't understand why I was so sad and felt so alone. Here I was a mama of two beautiful kids, s

Tuyet's Aquarium Birthday
After months of going back and forth with a fun theme for Tuyet's 6th birthday, we went from Shopkins to The little mermaid and ended up with going to the Vancouver Aquarium. One of the drawbacks of having a December baby is that a lot of people aren't available to come and join the festivities with the Christmas holiday, family vacations and Christmas break. We decided to go low key and spend it with just the four of us exploring the aquarium. Tuyet had so much fun walking a
