Shredded Chicken Tacos Recipe
This is hands down the easiest recipe ever and comes together in under 20 minutes. My kiddos love it and so do I since it's so fast and easy.
Package of Maple Leaf shredded chicken
8 flour tortillas or hard shell tacos
½ cup sour cream
1 cup mango-lime salsa
1 avocado diced or thinly sliced
fresh cilantro chopped
Shredded romaine or other lettuce
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp oil
In a large mixing bowl, place salt/pepper, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, oil, and shredded chicken and mix.
If using a tortilla, place one tortilla at a time on a skillet and warm each side to your liking. Place warmed tortilla onto taco stand. And assemble tacos. Add shredded chicken, lettuce, mango-lime salsa,, and sour cream on top.
If using hard tacos. Follow the same steps above as assembling software tacos.
The best part about this recipe, you can swap out the protein for shrimp or even tofu. That's the greatest thing about this recipe is how versatile it is, which is why we love tacos in our house so much.
