REVIEW: Deluxe&Co Diaper Bag
Before we start this review about this incredible Diaper bag we received. I wanted to get some things outta the way. I know we've been gone for sooooo long. But these past couple of months have been a rollercoaster. But we are so excited to announce we're expecting our third (rainbow baby). So much to catch up on.. I'm currently 17 weeks and expecting our little blueberry (the kiddos nicknamed the baby already) in August. And we couldn't be more grateful and thankful for this

MOM: 1 Pant, 2 Ways
Now that I have two kiddos having the time to get dressed and have a stylin outfit at that is no easy feat. Especially when its easier to just grab sweat pants and go. I find getting myself ready for the day not only makes me feel good but I'm so much more productive rather than staying in comfy clothes or jammies all day. The hardest part is to build a mom friendly wardrobe without sacrificing style. It's been quite a challenge to say the least. So I decided to pick out a fe

REVIEW: Secrets of TEA
Disclosure: I have partnered with Secrets of Tea and have received compensation for this post. All opinions are my own. After having two kiddos my body has definitely changed. The first time around, my body bounced back pretty quickly. But wow the second time around, my weight didn't melt off as quickly. I have done everything from eating healthy, watching calories and staying active but I had those stubborn few pounds that wouldn't go away. This blend is made of organic ingr

REVIEW: Lollipop Baby Camera
Although my kiddos are no longer babies, we still use a baby monitor. We moved to a new house a while back, and it's a lot bigger than our old townhouse. This house has 5 floors, so to say it kinda freaks me out not knowing what the kids are doing is an understatement LOL. And it's not that I don't trust these two monkeys. It's that this little guy of mine gets into everything. He is in the midst of toddlerhood and tries to get into as much mischief as possible. I mean litera

Practice Mindfulness
As a full time working mom, it can be very hard at times to be mindful of how you react to your children, your tone and body language. Without any words you can impact how your child reacts or acts around you. With this in mind I have been trying harder than ever to practice MINDFULNESS. Although some days are harder than others. Throughout our spring break, we have come up with fun activities to build a stronger relationship with my kids. And I want to emphasis this post is

What's in my RYLA Pack
Good morning everyone.... It's FriYaY, cue the happy dance. I am super stoked to be collaborating with a fellow mama blogger Lynn from the U.S. She is married and the most sweetest mama ever to a little girl. Once you have checked out our post go head on over to Lynn's blog Simplylynn. As you can see from my diaper bag I pack the bare minimum LOL. My old overpacker self would cringe if she saw my bag now. When I had a newborn baby the first time around I swear I would pack t

Mama SELF CARE
Sorry we have been MIA lately, I had major writers block and really didn't want to throw out some random blog post. But finally got some inspiration and the words started flowing. I wanted to talk about --->> Self care. It's been a major thing I have not been totally great at. I make sure everyone else is okay and totally forget about myself. So I am trying to do more things that take care of me. Although often I find it so hard to do, guilty even of doing something nice for

REVIEW: Ryla Diaper Bag
We have been using this RYLA diaper back pack for about a week and we love it so much. And if you’re like me and not a big leather fan, this back pack is 100% faux leather. Which means its easily wipeable, cause you know if you’re a mom you use baby wipes to clean everything. The outside has a large zipper pocket right at the front that fits a large phone with ease. And two bottle holders on the side of the bag, and the bottle holders are stretchy and can hold a large swell w

No GUILT mama
1. You let your kids roughhouse Unless you see something that may hurt them like the edge of the coffee table, let them get all that energy out. From what researh shows, roughousing can actually strengthen neural networks in the brain that control memory, attention, and impulse control, and also improve social skills. This form of play involves the children communicating the rules, following through with the set rules and taking turns. Which is so amazing in helping the child

Bonding with my babies
Being a working mama it's super hard to really enjoy it all, especially during the work week, it's tough. Not only are the days really fast paced, it's wake up, make breakfast, getting the kiddos lunches prepped for school, etc. It's a whole lot even before we head out the door. I have been trying super hard to be more mindful and spend more in the moment experiences with my kids. We try to do these special things to stay connected with one another. Especially when I'm solo p

Flawed and all
From the moment I met my husband in high school I knew he was the one for me. The one to have a family with and the one to have babies with. Fast forward years later, we'd have these two sweet babies. From the moment I found out we were pregnant with our little girl. I did everything I could to be healthy for her, starting with the food I ate, it had to be all good for you organic foods. And even my skincare, I changed to all natural products, even the cleaning supplies was a

Moms Night in Box
Another month another great theme in the "MOMS NIGHT IN" subscription service. This months theme was all about "ART" and relaxation. I think my fave has to be the colouring book. I mean the books title explains it all "A day in the life of mom" literally inside is full depictions of a moms life, laundry room full of clothes, a sink full of dishes, etc. Besides the cool colouring book, the box came with some yummy goodies, like organic lollipops and delicious little bites of c
